How do I image one computers hard drive and mount it as another drive on my computer?

I need to image 8 computers to a large 2TB external drive and then be able to access the information on each drive, like it’s a mounted drive on my computer. What’s the best way?

you cannot make an image of hdd.
yes it is true that you can make of cd/dvd drives but hdd is not possible.
if you have image, install a software called DAEMON tools.
mount the image using this software.
it will work as if like a cd/dvd has been inserted into the drive (which is virtual).
if its urgent, get a blu-ray disc and then make images.
