This a very small PC for the price. That's fine when you travel. Too bad it came with integrated wireless data. I connected the arms trade and works well when you travel. Wireless WiFi works very well at home to Starbucks and other hot spots such as the local library.
These are the pro-
Before very sweet. Ideal for travel.
According card reader. We can see the pictures and videos on the screen that is larger than the camera. You can also download the video to see Media Player.
Thirdly the integrated webcam and microphone works great. My children talk to their grandparents used to live in other continents too often. We use Skype video works well when network connection of these two extremes is good. My laptop has a webcam / microphone and my wife hates you hung son.
Fourthly I installed MS Office 7 your computer and works well. Offcource try to upload a very large document so that no memory or other problems.
My wife used as a kitchen campanion fifth. Look at the recipes and video.
Web browsing works sixth and e-mail quite well.
Seventh Color Pink Eye candy is great and is not available for many other brands or models.
Cons –
Before the screen is relatively small. I press the F11 key when using the browser. Take the toolbar at the top and offers more space screen. In comparison with the free and other smart devices (which has a similar price) is a larger screen.
According Mousepad is strange. Using the browser to move a finger touch pad mouse on the screen. Makes all fonts so small that it makes reading of the United Nations. Acer is going to solve this problem. Very unpleasant one.
The third battery lasts me about 1.5 hours. There must be another set of batteries if you take a longer flight time.
And fourthly "necessary to convert DVD to the SD card If you want to see. It is not easy.

Great Laptop For the beginner
At first, I needed to buy a laptop for college high school, which could be lightweight and easy to carry to class with me.
This team is incredibly light, I stay right in my pocket and carry it with me everywhere! Specifications are good and is perfect for doing homework or surfing the Internet. Course must get used to the small screen and keyboard, but I'm used to in about a week or two.
Honestly, no complaints about this laptop, I have mine for about six months and still use it almost every day. Of course, the system is too small for an optical drive and it is understandable, but does not detract from its usefulness. I have a laptop to watch movies and burn DVDs, but I'll take the child to me I may have the convenience of being connected 24 / 7.
Definitely a great buy for someone who is always on the road ~

Incredibly small team
I used this netbook a couple of times a week last year. It runs quietly and quickly to the size. I think it's perfect for reading or typing new documents. Has enough power to show videos, play games flash and download all my photos on the web. The weight is excellent to carry in a purse or backpack and can be used almost anywhere. I bought a cooling fan (size of a laptop instead of a Netbook) and was glad I did this small is very hot. I really liked the computer and enjoy a significant amount of time in the future.

I have my ACER very quickly after I put the order. It's very nice LOOKS importance. KEY COUNCIL should use it. I like it because it fits in my purse. Ideal to go, check your mail e-mail and surf the Web. I HAVE THE 6-cell battery remains charged ALMLOST for five hours. Its fun to use, except to use the space bar. In fact, not well, but I think it is the DOABLE.I 10 inches would have been preferable. Always a great little computer. The screen, small as it is, is super light color. I think it would great for students of GO.

You have this for the lady. She was happier. She sits on the couch and his sister and her daughter instant messages, blog updates and generally has a good time with it. It seems a little slow, but then it's a netbook.
It's fallen and 4 'in our ceramic in the kitchen. He says that "bounced." She picked it up. No chips, no cracks and it works. It's the little truth. Not seem to want to sit in all four legs. But it always works when you're on your knees, not noticing.

Love this netbook!
Well kiddies, here's my opinion. I have a desktop computer, two laptops and netbooks, the Acer Aspire One I have a pink and white. Love you both. You have at home and one at the office. I have them since March 2009 and have no problem, just love and get tons of comments about'em. If you need a player DVD, so everything is not for netbooks you, unless you add an external hard drive, but then what's the point? This does exactly what it says. Immediately dispose McAffee virus and download the Free AVG. Works perfectly. I've added Skype, Yahoo Messenger, firewalls and more. You can not beat the portability. Fanless whining as some others have complained. I went to Ebay and bought a cheap keyboard cover to keep pristine white keys. Spent $ 5. You have an extra battery and ever again. If you need portability, small size and lightweight, it is for you. Well I like both the pink and white, no fingerprints as dark colors can be. You choose. Keep waiting and is defeated. I regret not netbook bandwagon. I can use my laptop, but I take my netbook great everwhere and you too.

The perfect travel companion
Acer netbook I chose this about six months ago have not been disappointed. At work, I take it to meetings instead of my business from Dell that the battery life is much longer (5-7 hours depending on usage) and is super portable, much less a conversation starter. Regularly VPN / remote desktop on my work machine to start SQL queries or other intensive applications. I can edit documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and diagrams, without much problem (using an external mouse if you do). I have taken on business trips and holidays, and was a breeze as hand luggage through the CSE. I tend to take my bag with me time.
I recently made the switch to Mac at home and my Acer is a great choice for the couple of applications that require Windows (not having to run XP / Vista in bootcamp). A netbook is not intended to replace a regular destop or notebook, but as a great device for taking notes (I use Evernote), email, web and office light is my daily companion.

My husband tells me that the Acer Aspire One 8.9 "netbook rose for a gift (a Christmas gift waaay early, but I'm not complaining!). It took about 5 minutes or so before it is fully prepared to go (to uninstall the McAfee antivirus software and download AVG Free trial) including the establishment of the wireless connection. The first night I used it, passed 7 hours with the battery (which was the establishment on battery power), and was still in force soon, even if it were in highest efficiency. By the price, this little beauty is amazing. We are still going to use my 15.4 "especially at home, but travel to and if I want to use our home computer, outside our house (where I use the laptop) I will definitely use the Acer Aspire One
